Our parish is currently worshiping in a gymnasium and does not have a tabernacle or reservation chapel attached. What do we do with the leftover hosts?

Answer
The hosts that are to be consumed immediately. The presumption, especially from Holy Communion and Worship of the Eucharist Outside of Mass, is that all hosts that are not reserved in a tabernacle, or send with communion ministers to the sick and shut-ins, are consumed. They are consumed by all the ministers. If a larger number, they may be consumed after Mass by the ministers.
