Question
I am not a Catholic, but understand that your church is allowing communion for those who are not Catholic at certain weddings. What are the official documents that state this?

Answer
Answer
There have been some allowances for communion at a mixed marriage. The pertinent norms of universal law on reception of communion by the baptized non-Catholic at a mixed marriage are: Canon 844, pars. 3 and 4, of the Code of Canon Law. No. 159 of the Directory for the Application of the Principles and Norms on Ecumenism. You will note that the permission of the bishop (or his delegate) is required.
